Oath & Oak is where service meets story and where tradition finds new ground.

Founded in Leesburg by fourth-generation Army combat veteran Ted Adair, Oath & Oak exists to help veterans move into the next chapters of their lives. The Outpost is a welcoming third place outside of home and work where veterans, families, and neighbors gather to connect, reflect, and build community.

We believe every veteran carries perspective that matters. Through storytelling, mentorship, and shared learning, we help veterans make sense of where they have been and imagine what comes next. The work here is practical, grounded, and rooted in lived experience.

At the Outpost, that work shows up through workshops and hands-on sessions focused on real-world growth. Veterans and community supporters learn how to strengthen networks, develop ideas and businesses, navigate modern platforms, and tell their stories with clarity and purpose. Digital media and emerging capabilities, including artificial intelligence, are used thoughtfully to amplify human insight and expand opportunity, never to replace it.

The Outpost continues to grow as a living network of podcasts, gatherings, mentorship, and civic partnerships rooted in place and purpose. It is a place to belong, to build, and to help shape what comes next, together.
